Eaton Names New Plant Manager for Kearney Facility

Kris BaldwinKEARNEY, Neb.  Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Kris Baldwin has joined the company as plant manager of the Vehicle Group’s automotive valvetrain facility in Kearney, Nebraska . Baldwin will oversee all production, safety and environmental aspects at Kearney .

“Kris is an exceptional leader with a wealth of facility management experience,” said Jason Smith, director of operations in North America for Eaton’s Automotive business. “We’re excited to have her lead the Kearney team.”

Baldwin most recently was the plant manager for Ingersoll-Rand’s Security Technologies Sector in Princeton, Illinois . Prior to that role, she served as plant manager at Eaton’s Vehicle Group facilities in Auburn and Greenfield, Indiana, and factory manager in Belmond, Iowa Baldwin previously was an engineer, production supervisor and Six Sigma “black belt” for Cummins Inc.

Baldwin also served as a captain in the U.S. Army after earning a bachelor’s degree in general engineering from the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York . She has a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University
